The PBC Library, which began twelve years ago, exists for the benefit, that is for edification, education, and enjoyment of our PBC members and attendees.  They offer a wide range of Christian titles for all ages and in many forms: books; books on Cd; DVDs and VHS for entertainment and/or education; sermons and Bible studies on CD, DVD, and tape.  About ten people are involved in this ministry with additional volunteers added in the summer when we have a special reading program.  Stop by the library and check it out!

HOURS:
PBC Library is open after each Sunday Service. Members and friends of PBC, regular attenders, are invited to check out books for up to three weeks or our popular DVDs and videos for one week.  Stop by in the east wing off the courtyard and see what God has done with the generous input of the PBC family.

RENEW ON LINE: library@placeritachurch.com

NEED: Family Christian Bookstore, on Peachland, has a great opportunity for us. Please ask for the "Ministry Builder" stamps whenever you make a purchase there. Bring the stamps or filled cards to the library and we can use them like cash to buy new items for the library. We welcome your suggestions for items that we might purchase.

DONATIONS: We welcome donations of new or like new materials. Since we now have more than four thousand items in the library we frequently receive duplicates. Our duplicates have been given to other churches or missions to develop their libraries or sold to help us buy items that we don't have.

Our library is managed by Barb B., with the help and support of a great team of volunteers who faithfully rotate weekly: Laurie, Shirley, Paulina, Heidi, Dee, Jerre, Cindy, Rosa, and Anita; and some of our youth group serving as interns: Claudia, Taylor, and Alysa; and Anna does our NEW newsletter called Potpourri, pronounced po-pur-ri, and means a collections of things. It is all about our collection of books, DVDs, CDs, and VHS.
